Amethyst, traditionally the birthstone for February, is a symbol of spiritual opening, sincerity, & peace of mind. Also representative of love, it is the anniversary jewel for the 4th and 6th years of marriage. It is the state gemstone of South Carolina in the United States and of Ontario in Canada.
