Carved head with garnet and citrine,
        carved applewood pendant

Designed and carved by Dominic Koval

The deep red garnet, which was traditionally carried by travelers to protect them from accidents, is said to light up the night, preventing nightmares and inspiring love. According to legend, Noah used a garnet lantern to help him steer the Ark after dark. Garnet, which is also found in many other colors, is the birthstone for January.  Citrine is a symbol youth, hope, health & fidelity.  It is a November birthstone, and the anniversary stone for the 17th year of marriage.
