The
applewood carvings in this collection have been inspired by the
geometry and grace of nature, the dramas of garden, field and forest, and the mystery of our allies in the unseen world.
Many of them were designed to interpret a particular
gemstone, or an
impression (also by
Dominic) cast in precious metal. Sometimes work in silver, gold or
vermeil has been enhanced by hand painting, and in other cases the
carvings themselves frame miniature oil paintings. We hope you will enjoy
visiting these pages, and perhaps find something that is special to
you.
